The Self

It's easier to change yourself, than it is to change others. This is one of the lessons I took from Rich Dad, Poor Dad. As the book says, people always want to change everyone else rather than themselves. But this thinking leaves us powerless to making changes. In accepting that the probelm lies in us, we now have the ability to make a change. This is so simple, yet so major. People sit around for years, decades, or even their whole lives waiting for those around them to change, but never take a moment to look within. If you're not happy with yourself, your life or your situation, there's only one of two things you can do: change your mind, or change your situation.
